Brands you should know by now...

Pretty cool evolution of the recycling raffle that Clean Vibes usually offers.

"This year Clean Vibes will be introducing the Clean Vibes' Trading Post. An adaptation of the annual recycling raffle, the Trading Post will accept cans and bottles that can be redeemed for immediate rewards. The cans and bottles become a currency of sort, and the more recycling you collect, the more valuable items you can "purchase." Bring your cans and bottles to any of the Campground Pods or to the Trading Post in Planet Roo, and "cash them in."

I wonder if this will make people more inclined to pick up their shit. My gut says that those who cared before will continue to, but the prolific litter bugs won't be enticed by a CD or a green gift.
I think peer pressure and the consistent tone set by Clean Vibes on their trucks, signs, and recycling stations has a greater impact than any token material incentive has. I guess if it's successful, we'll see a ticket/incentive program implemented at future Clean Vibes jobsites.

"Depending on the number of cans and bottles you turn in, you will receive a certain number of point vouchers. Bring your vouchers to the Clean Vibes' Trading Post in Planet Roo and trade them in for your choice of a variety of green gifts - from earth friendly health and beauty products and organic clothing to autographed band merchandise and food vendor vouchers."
"Items available for trade include CDs from a variety of artists, an autographed Metallica drum head, Widespread Panic merchandise, autographed posters from Pearl Jam, Umphrey's McGee, and Robert Plant and Allison Krauss and recycled SoleUnited shoes from Crocs. The person who trades in the most recycling throughout the weekend will receive 2 tickets to next years event!"
